Krystyna Pyszková from the Czech Republic was crowned Miss World 2024 at a competition held in Mumbai, India.
Yasmina Zaytoun of Lebanon was the first runner-up among 112 contestants.
After being crowned, Pyszková said she felt deeply honored to represent her country and the values of “beauty with a purpose” on a global platform.
The event showcased Indian culture, traditions, arts and crafts through performances by the contestants of popular Bollywood songs and dances wearing Indian attire.
It was the first time the Miss World competition was held in India in 28 years.
Six Indian women have previously won the Miss World title.
The 71st Miss World competition was hosted by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and former Miss World Megan Young of the Philippines.
