Israeli jets strike Houthi targets in Yemen after Tel Aviv attack

Houthi-run Al Masirah TV reported that Israeli warplanes targeted areas in and near the port of Hodeidah in Yemen with several missiles.
They said the air strikes hit import facilities and a coastal road, claiming several people were injured.
The report could not be independently verified. Israel and the Saudi-led coalition fighting the Houthis in Yemen have not commented on the claim.
Hodeidah is a lifeline port for Yemen, feeding around 70% of imports into the conflict-torn country where millions are on the brink of starvation.
Previous strikes attributed to Israel on the Houthi-held port have aimed to disrupt alleged Iranian shipments of weapons to the Houthis which Riyadh says are used to attack Saudi territory.
Yemen has been embroiled in a civil war since 2014 between the Saudi-backed government and the Houthis. Saudi Arabia accuses Iran of arming the Houthi group, a charge Tehran denies.
