It is unclear who her character was talking to or what news was communicated, but Aniston appears shocked and stressed during the call.
After hanging up, she sits down on the library steps where she was filming and cries while processing the information.
The day before, Aniston had filmed a scene where her character was doused with fake oil during a protest while shooting outside.
“The Morning Show” is an Apple TV+ drama co-starring Reese Witherspoon about anchors of a morning TV news program. Aniston plays news anchor Alex Levy.
Season 4 is currently filming on location in New York City. Previous seasons featured storylines with actors like Jon Hamm.
