Netanyahu says Israel will exact heavy price for any aggression toward it

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed a strong response to any attacks on Israel following the recent assassinations of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and a senior Hezbollah leader in Beirut. Netanyahu highlighted Israel’s recent strikes against Iran’s proxies, Hamas and Hezbollah, which have escalated tensions and raised fears of a broader Middle East conflict. He assured Israeli citizens that the nation is prepared for any scenario and will respond decisively to aggression. The Israeli military announced the killing of Fuad Shukr, a senior Hezbollah commander, linked to a deadly attack in the Golan Heights. Both Hezbollah and Hamas confirmed the deaths of their leaders, but Israel did not claim responsibility for Haniyeh’s assassination.
