Katy Perry appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and talked about her experience performing at King Charles and Queen Camilla’s coronation celebrations in May.
She said she and her mother stayed in Windsor Castle during their visit, which she described as the “best gift” she could give her mom.
Perry recalled accidentally running into King Charles and Queen Camilla in the castle as she rushed to film a segment with them for American Idol.
She performed “Roar” and “Firework” at the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle, which was broadcast live. Princess Charlotte was seen singing along.
Perry addressed going viral for looking lost trying to find her seat at the coronation ceremony, saying most guests had general admission seating.
She hinted at new music and touring plans in 2024 now that she’s leaving her role as American Idol judge after the current season.
